Embiveni Meats Donates E20,000 in Food & Essentials to Lwandle Boys’ Home
Embiveni Meats, a subsidiary of Inyatsi Group Holdings, has donated food and sanitary items worth E20,000 to Lwandle Methodist Home for Boys. The donation was handed over by Managing Director Phindile Matsebula and her team, reinforcing the company’s commitment to community upliftment.
Welcoming the Embiveni team were Former Deputy Prime Minister Constance Simelane and Church Board member Nokukhanya Gamedze, who expressed deep gratitude for the support. Simelane emphasized the critical role of corporate partnerships in sustaining the home and improving the lives of vulnerable children.
Matsebula highlighted Inyatsi Group Executive Chairman Michelo Shakantu’s dedication to youth empowerment. “Giving back is not just a duty but a responsibility. We are committed to supporting initiatives that uplift young people,” she stated.
The home, which shelters 15 boys, also seeks to expand its poultry farming initiative to boost self-sustainability. Embiveni’s General Manager Phasika Mahlanga expressed interest in supporting this effort to help the home achieve its goal of rearing 5,000 chickens.
With 34 acres of land available for agriculture, the home is looking for further support to maximize its resources and accommodate more children on its waiting list. This donation marks another step in Inyatsi Group’s ongoing mission to drive meaningful change in Eswatini’s communities.
